Temporary kitchen moved from sun room to living room to make room for painting and flooring in sun room.
My time in Tanzania
We choose wall colours with the help of Katie Jenkins. Revere Pewter and the sea foam green on the accent wall. Most of the lower floor will be in Revere Pewter. Both very complimentary and calming colours.

We are choosing colours for all the elements of the renovation – matching colour with the flooring (hardwood and vinyl plank) and counter tops (granite and laminate). There are endless possibilities.
Tones of blue, grey and deciding on an accent colour for one of the walls. We decided to wait on the accent colour and do it ourselves after we live with what we choose for a while.

The old kitchen is being demolished this week in preparation for the electrical, plumbing and drywall work so the new kitchen cabinets can be installed the following week. So I moved the fridge, dining room table and the essentials to feed ourselves into temporary shelving. Fun Fun Fun.
Monday Oct. 22, the old kitchen was torn out.

Colin the drywaller is fixing up all the walls and the ceiling in teh living room, sun room, main floor bedroom and the sun room. Things are really taking shape. Our living space will be huge but for now there is only the upstairs and the kitchen between all the spaces where renovation is happening. Next week the kitchen will be demolished.

Prepped the garden area below the chicken coop, turning in soil from tomatoes pots that were going to be composted at Morris Flowers. We broke off massive cloves from Red Russian bulbs and then put them in the ground. Rio is a very curious dog!
We picked all the apples and are giving more than half to Harvest Share.
