Was fortunate enough to spend some time amongst 2 different Chimpanzee troops. Some special moments with these beautiful beings.
We had to wear masks to stop the death of Chimps who get the same viruses that humans get. We share 98% of our genes.

Hi Swami Samayananda, Thank you for your well wishes. I was able to get good medical care with the help of my CUSO managers. I am feeling better and will be getting back to work this week. I will ad you my list for next post(s). Not much to report the past month except I was sick and hung out with some chimpanzees. All the best,

Glad to hear you are feeling about ready to head back to work. I remember being in Somalia and getting sick right at the end — and so grateful for the good care I received once back in California — because there was not much at all available in Somalia. So glad you got help for good care. YDC starts tomorrow night. 14 people this year. Always a mystery. . .
